here comes the thunder

 The avatar of the Slavic deity Perun is one of the brave heroes defending Pulp City. When picking the colors, I kept the red cape of the Marvel version, but just kept things simple elsewhere. He's all about the business, not about the flash and style.

I have never, ever finished a fig this quickly. But after my inspirational failure at the 11+1 Challenge, I wanted to get things back on track, back in the saddle and all that. A random warm day (thanks global warming!) gave me the opportunity to get some rare winter spray priming done. And taking care of the wife after some dental work meant some free time on the couch, so I hammered this fig out. From primer to painted to detailed to washed in one day. So weird.
